Making Meals

Family Meals from the Heart

Warm meals welcome our families to the House through our Meals from the Heart program. Volunteers who provide meals for our families play an integral part in making our House a home-away-from-home during their child’s treatment and recovery process. Each year, nearly 3,000 homemade meals are served to families at the House. If you’re interested in preparing a meal for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan, call 517-485-9303, email info@rmhmm.org and click the button below.

Once your inquiry is received you’ll receive these next steps:

  1. Coordinate your group (no more than 4-5 people).
  2. Select your date and confirm it with RMHC staff.
  3. Submit your recipe.
  4. Receive grocery list from the House.
  5. Purchase groceries.
  6. Make the meal at the House.

Guidelines

Jackson associates love spending time together cooking for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House. For many of our associates, volunteering to cook a meal is their first visit to the Ronald McDonald House and they are always impressed by the good work being done there. However, some of our associates have benefitted from the Ronald McDonald House and truly know the support and peace of mind that comes from the house. We are extremely grateful to partner with an organization that supports families through a difficult time.
